The Staudinger power plant site is the workplace for around 460 people. Most of them are directly employed by the power plant, but some by the Regionalzentrum Mitte and some at E.ON Facility Management and E.ON Anlagenservice.

The workforce at the site includes 40 apprentices. The trades they are trained for are: electronics engineer for management engineering, industrial mechanic, industrial sales and laboratory assistant.

While the power plant employees are responsible for the operation of the five power plant blocks, the Regionalzentrum Mitte runs the commercial operations. As well as from the Staudinger power plant it manages BKB Heringen GmbH, the Göppingen waste-fueled power plant and the Kassel power plant.
