The Staudinger power plant site is the workplace for around 430 people. Most of them are directly employed by the power plant, but some by the Regional Unit Central and some at E.ON Facility Management or E.ON Anlagenservice.

The workforce at the site includes 40 apprentices. The trades they are trained for are: electronics engineer for management engineering, industrial mechanic, industrial sales and laboratory assistant.

While the power plant employees are responsible for the operation of the five power plant blocks, the Regional Unit Central runs the commercial operations. As well as the Staudinger power plant it manages the nucelar power plant Grafenrheinfeld and the hydro power stations at the Edersee and on the river Main.
